Asian Arts Studio Summer Camp

AAS Mandarin and Art Summer Camp is designed for children entering Kindergarten through 4th grade. In classes conducted in Mandarin, the children draw, paint, play the yaogu (the Chinese waist drum), sing Chinese folk songs, recite Chinese poetry, and much more.

During each four-week session, students will experience Chinese language and culture through a wide variety of traditional and cultural activities such as singing, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese brush painting, arts and crafts, drama, or martial arts. CAIS offers 2 summer programs: CAIS Mandarin Immersion Camp and STARTALK Summer Program for San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) students. The Mandarin Institute in conjunction with STARTALK will offer a FREE Elementary Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp to those students who qualify.
