One-on-one conversation practice with Mandarin tutors

We’ve hired amazing Mandarin tutors to help kids grow their fluency and confidence.  All of our tutors have been kid-tested and teacher reviewed, and every online, one-on-one session is completely tailored to the student’s interests and Mandarin level.   

Free educational Mandarin videos for kids and teachers

From tongue twisters to basic phrases to modern slang, our fun, short videos can be used by teachers in the classroom or by kids at home.  We’re making this educational content available  – for free – and we’re adding more content all the time.

    My 7 year old son has been working with 3 of the PandaTree tutors twice a week since June. We couldn’t be happier. He is a Mandarin 50/50 immersion student in his third year at our rural public elementary school in SW Washington. He looks forward to his sessions and his conversational skills, confidence in speaking Mandarin and ability to understand the spoken language have dramatically improved over the last 4 months. As a parent, I appreciate the reliable technology platform and the fact that I can download a video of his lessons. Any minor customer service questions are quickly resolved. The quality of the tutors is very good and they always review the highlights of each lesson at the end. The materials and pictures are high quality and easily retain my son’s attention. PandaTree has quickly proven itself to be a valuable resource for my emerging bilingual student.

    {I posted something earlier today but don’t see it here so I’m trying this again} – Our experience with the program has been a very positive one. It offers a nice mix of listening, speaking, and reading practice with friendly and engaging tutors. I also like that the child’s and parent’s hubs on their website keeps list of the words that are learned.
