維尼斯（Venice）百老匯小學（Broadway Elementary School）的家長和學生，8日上午聚集在洛杉磯聯合學區（LAUSD）大樓前，舉牌抗議並質疑學區不合理減半該校成功推行已久的中學教學課程，希望能夠獲得回應及解決辦法。「讓我們學習，Let us learn」、「Kids not politics，孩子不是政治下的受害者」、「停止刪減，Stop the cuts」等碩大標語牌引起路過人潮的注目。
