This is a fantastic program! I highly recommend it for students looking for a community service experience and to immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture. Full disclosure: I was the ED of the nonprofit organization that ran this program. It is no longer associated with the nonprofit, but is being managed by the major donor who has directed it for many years.
Hello,
I’m interested taking my childern (ages 10,7,4) to
China next year for camps. They need a full immersion camp for Mandarin Chinese and I prefer if it was in mainland china with a larger city but I’m open to anything. They do speak the language. I am wondering if you have any recommendations for a “fun camp” that can help with their fluency. Thank you in advance any help you can give me.
I haven’t seen that many “fun” camps in China, though I expect they’re starting to exist. I’ll ask on some lists I’m on and see if anyone has suggestions.
Hello,
I am also looking for a summer camp for my son in China summer 2018. Would like it to be educational yet age appropriate. Any suggestions?
